The one vital answer to address our transport woes and transform a country’s transportation system into a more advanced one is to develop much-needed mass transport infrastructure projects.

This is what the Department of Transportation (DOTr), under the most determined leadership of Secretary Arthur Tugade, has been doing since the onset of the Duterte Administration.

And one of these mass transport system projects that are being accelerated right now is the Metro Rail Transit Line-7 (MRT-7), the construction of which stands at a 59.72% progress rate, as of December 2020.

The 22-km. rail line that will span from North Avenue in Quezon City to San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, will have 14 stations. It is projected cut down travel time from the current two (2) to three (3) hours, to only 35 minutes.

This, along with other transport infrastructure projects, programs, and initiatives that have been completed and are well in progress under the Duterte Administration’s “Build, Build, Build” Program, is what we are striving to fully realize at the soonest time possible, to usher the country’s transportation system into the ‘Golden Age of Infrastructure,’ and deliver the President’s promise of a comfortable life for the Filipino people.

We will never stop. We will continue to move forward.

All for the Filipino people!
