“The DOTr believes that, as we aim towards swift recovery and economic development, especially during these times that we are further challenged by a pandemic, infrastructure development remains a key driver, " Asec. Pastor said.
He added, "As our commitment to fulfill the aspiration of our beloved President to make the Filipino life comfortable, the DOTr and its attached agencies will continue to fast-track the delivery of various infrastructure projects while ensuring the safety of the riding public.”
Asec. Pastor concluded by emphasizing the relentless and untiring efforts of the DOTr, “this health and economic crisis has inflicted a tragic toll, and has an upsetting effect in our lives. This calls for our strong need to step up and heighten our socio-economic advancement. As you can see, we are doing these actions in the best way we can, by working rapidly with the little time left that we have.“
Indeed, the DOTr remains most committed in delivering transport programs meant to fulfill the goal of significantly improving mobility and connectivity.
