Despite the challenges brought by the COVID-19 global pandemic, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) remains resolute to improve and continue to develop transformational projects, which will usher the country's mobility and connectivity.

Yesterday, DOTr Secretary Art Tugade inspected and visited the Pangasinan Port Cluster Development Project - two social tourism port projects that initiated and completed by the DOTr at Brgy. Pangapisan and Brgy. Capandanan in Lingayen, Pangansinan.

These completed port development projects aims to connect two places for better mobility and connectivity for the benefit of commuters, including to help fisherfolks in the area.

In the same day, Secretary Tugade also presented the PUV modern units, as he launched the additional 6 routes of the Free Ride for Healthworkers and Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APORs), where 65 total PUV modern  units plying all around in Pangasinan will be deployed.

He also called upon all drivers, operators and stakeholders in the locality to join the scholarship program under "Tsuper Iskolar" of the PUV Modernization Program.

This is how we trailblaze, to provide a life of long-term comfort and convenience to all Filipinos.

And rest assured that we will remain relentless and unstoppable in pushing for transformational initiatives, and will work on swifty realizing them, to make the Philippines better and more progressive than ever.
