As another day less in the term of the Duterte Administration unfolds, the Department of Transportation (DOTr), under the inspired leadership of Secretary Art Tugade, vows to continue working until the last day of office to fulfill our mandate of providing Filipinos with a more convenient and comfortable life.
Part of this covenant is the modernization of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) offices and facilities to provide better, safe, seamless, and efficient service for the Filipino people.
With road crashes and motor vehicle-related crimes remaining one of perennial problems in the country, the LTO Central Command Center (C3) will help address and resolve these problems with the support of the incident reporting mobile app called CitiSend.
The LTO C3 and CitiSend serves as the road user’s direct line of communication to the LTO to help minimize road crashes and motor vehicle-related crimes, and ensure road safety and public awareness.
It will also serve as the joint LTO and Philippine National Police (PNP) Operations and Control Center and the agency’s central nerve of operations and law enforcement service, such as surveillance monitoring, coordination and alarm monitoring in accordance with the agency’s mandate.
Within the remaining 46 days of the Duterte administration, more projects and programs across the archipelago will be completed and initiatives to be implemented to achieve unprecedented heights of connectivity and mobility to give the Filipino people a more convenient and comfortable life.
