The much-anticipated Bicol International Airport (BIA) in Daraga, Albay is expected to be operational by the first quarter of 2021. The new Passenger Terminal Building of the country’s “Most Scenic Gateway” can accommodate 2 million passengers annually and can seat 1,624 passengers at any time. Its runway length is 2,500 meters and can accommodate most wide-bodied jet aircraft. |

New Manila (Bulakan) International Airport
Description: |
The New Manila International Airport Project consists of four (4) runways and a passenger terminal building capable of handling 100 million passengers annually, with a provision for expansion to 200 million passengers per year. It also involves the construction of an 8.4-kilometer tollway that will connect the gateway to the North Luzon Express (NLEX) at Marilao, Bulacan. |

Sangley Airport
Description: |
Inaugurated in February 2020, the completed first phase of the Sangley Airport is expected to address traffic congestion in our main gateway, NAIA, as the project is designed to cater to general aviation and cargo operations. The first phase of development includes the construction of its passenger terminal building (PTB), hangars, other landside support facilities, and runway rehabilitation. The second phase of the project includes reclamation works to widen the 07-strip end, airside site development, drainage improvement, and additional hangars. The target completion for Phase 2 is by the 3rd quarter of 2021. |

Clark International Airport
Description: |
The construction of the new Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) of the Clark International Airport has been finally completed in September 2020 and is slated to be fully operational in January 2021. Once operational, the airport’s current capacity of 4.2 million passengers will be tripled– further increasing its overall passenger capacity to 12.2 million passengers per year. The development project also involved the installation of required equipment, machinery, and associated facilities to support the operations of the new PTB and its integration with the existing PTB. The project is expected to help decongest NAIA; further improve air connectivity in Regions I, II, III, and CAR; and unlock regional economic potential for tourism. |
